Michelle Malkin is saddened — nay, grief-stricken — that wingnut hate-radio host Melanie Morgan has been fired from Citadel Radio’s San Francisco Bay-area KSFO radio station. Of course, Ms. Morgan traffics in unusually reprehensible views, even for the right, my emphasis:
As Media Matters for America previously noted, during the February 8 [2007]Morning Show, [Morgan's co-host Lee] Rodgers repeated and embellished a discredited right-wing smear, claiming that [the Jewish George] Soros [denied he was a Jew and] “apparently very cheerfully and willingly went to work for the Nazis,”….For her part, Morgan alleged — without explanation — that Soros did so “[i]n order to further his own career.”
During the February 26 broadcast, [KFSO Program Director Ken] Berry retracted their remarks:
BERRY: During our February 8th broadcast, the hosts of this program mistakenly stated that financier George Soros “cheerfully” and “willingly” went to work for the Nazis after his native Hungary was occupied during World War II, when Mr. Soros was 13 years old. The hosts also mistakenly stated that Mr. Soros “ran around Hungary with Nazi officials, serving eviction notices to people who were going to be shipped out on the death trains,” and that he did so “to further his own career.” These statements are not accurate, and KSFO regrets that they were broadcast.
But be of good cheer! For Malkin assures us thus about Morgan, the repugnant defamer of Jews Morgan doesn’t like: “I know she’ll land on her feet. She’s a mover, shaker, and fighter–and a big asset to the conservative movement.”
You betcha, Michelle. Falsely accusing Jews of being Nazis and sending other Jews to “death trains” is okee-dokey, as long as the vile Right Wing Noise Machine exists to forgive such “minor” calumnies for the greater good of promoting war throughout the Middle East; the neocon right will certainly find another niche for the talented Ms. Morgan.

I don’t mean to be picky, but to say she “traffics in unusually reprehensible views…” is inaccurate. You might say she traffics in unusually reprehensible hate speech, or unusually reprehensible bloviating, but views are a kind of thought and as such should not really be the target because it makes us look like thought police to them. Instead attack the speech itself, the inciting to violence or spreading of hatred and racism. Now, who’s next? Savage? Oh PLEASE make Savage next! Who is going after his advertisers, sending them clips of his show which they support? Whose going to step up and do a Morgon on his lame ass?

Having personally witnessed the Support our Troops rally at Berkeley last month, with the only violence and hate being promoted by a group of young 13-14 year old monkey’s on a string, with black shirts and orange bandanna’s who were controlled and directed by a few burnt out hippy pedephiles. These same Berkeley High teachers were exhibiting honesty and integrity to our youth by their having called in sick that day at the tax payers expense, to lead the blind youth, who did not have a clue what was really going on. These are the same communist anti american leaches who suck off the systems, poisen our youth’s minds while exhibiting their lack of tolerance, failure to support other’s right to free speach and though speaking of peace, show and encourage hate, violece and disrespect for everything this Country stands for and was founded upon Ah, yes a fine lot they are. If all hell breaks out and people have enough of these vermon, be assured the first call they will make will be for the National Guard to come save their sorry spineless asses

Mr. Scolari: If *I* constitute being a “leftist,” it is only by virtue of the GOP having become a Limbaugh/Drudge/Coulter-led, neocon, warmongering, bilge-spewing freak show. As a libertarian political junkie who knows some of that thar history stuff, you see, I have an informed brain, and thus note the dangerous authoritarianism in a Party (the GOP) I tepidly supported at one point, a few decades ago.
Mr./Ms. Bridges: All very interesting musings on your part, albeit they have nothing to do with the vileness of Malkin and her hate-mongering pal, Melanie Morgan.
Some of the writers here are self-described liberals. These days I have infinitely more in common with those (the real ones, not faux jerks like Marty Peretz), than with your/Scolari’s ilk.

There are some words that are just too horrible to even say. There’s the “N” word and to me, ust as bad, the “C” word applied to women. But after several times listening to the “pearls” of Malken, Morgon, and let’s throw in Coultor. The “C” word seems understated.

I read these posts and I am absolutely apalled at the hate spewed on these pages. Thank God for the silent majority in the middle that more or less runs the country while “putting up with” the nuisance loud mouth haters on either side of us.
I think all of you should check yourselves, look into the mirror and see how utterly evil you sound. I would not let my kids near these pages, it is just unbelievable how mean you people are.
I know many of you must have children - and we wonder why our kids are slaughtering their fellow students in schools across the nation. It is the environment hateful nuts like all of you create.
And I should not be talking like that myself and I will ask for forgiveness in my prayers before I go to sleep, I wonder how many of you will?
I forget you folks nowadays are to smart and too cool to believe in or pray to any God. One thing about it, kids were not murdering other children by the dozens when I was in school, you know, back before the liberal crowd kicked God out of school and out of the public square. And don’t take that as a dig because the right does things just as bad.
Do yourselves a favor and read your own posts and imagine your grandmother wrote it. Pretty messed up huh?
But who am I to judge? That is not my purpose.

Thanks, Joe. I’m glad you’re not being judgemental, but merely pointing out that we are hate spewing, loud mouth, evil, mean, hateful nuts that encourage children to slaughter one another. Good thing you’re part of the “silent” majority that is “putting up with” us.

It seems a few people here want to attack Mona and some commenters, but can’t seem to come up with a valid reason for the attack.
Now I realize that slinging poo on the wall and hoping at least some of it will stick is a time honored political tradition in America.
But trying it when you have diarrhea is more than silly.
If you want to just come out and say that you see nothing wrong whatsoever with accusing a Jew of being a Nazi sympathizer even when you know that’s not true then do so.
I mean seriously, show a little guts.

So simply reporting what Morgan said is “spewing hate”?
The posts I’ve seen on this blog have criticized opposing political views and policies, often in pointed terms, but I haven’t seen what I’d consider particularly vitriolic language. I hope Joe doesn’t have to spend too much time in therapy recovering from his exposure to non-Stepford Wife opinions, and that his kids are never traumatized by directly witnessing someone exercising the capacity for critical thought.
If that’s what passes for the “center,” I’m glad to be an extremist. We’ve got too many lobotomized people as it is.

Please, I wish to know more about the NAZI’S THINK PEOPLE.
Did other groups have THINK PEOPLE?
Is it more a manifestation of the extreme right to have THINK PEOPLE, or is it something one finds across the political spectrum?
Myabe that’s what the Nazis ultimately lost the war: the best THINK PEOPLE, as everyone knows, are going to be Jewish, and, well…you see the problem here.
So by all means, do go on.
