Hannity, Limbaugh etc…A Nation Turns Its Hurting Soul to You — And Snickers

(posted by Mona)

K-Lo collects herself and genuflects to the following on behalf of a grateful nation: “Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Andy McCarthy, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham.”

Because those radio warriors who have been reviling McCain endlessly had, it seems, everything to do with John McCain’s magnificent speech yesterday at the Conservative Political Action Conference — an oratory punctuated with what John Amato says was passionate booing, as evidenced by a video so you may judge for yourself — that has redeemed him among the right, or so posits K-Lo’s Corner colleague Stanley Kurtz, my emphasis:

In any case, I thought McCain did an excellent job, and notwithstanding what seemed like a faction of pre-planned booers at the start, he won over most of the crowd. Will all this be enough to unite the party? It’s too early to say. But everyone seemed to agree that McCain’s speech today was the right way to start.

Pre-planned, eh? I laugh, I taunt the GOP. Rudy is thankfully dead in then water, Romney is out, and so ya’ll are gonna have to spend the next ten months pretending you had not relegated John McCain to pariah — nay, leper — status, or else it is HRC or Obama for you!

(And no, I do not support the John “bomb Iran” McCain campaign at all. Far from it. I’m simply enjoying the GOP spectacle.)
